As the time draws closer to the local government elections all over the state, we at to outline some of or basic needs in the local government it requires immediate attention and they include

1-Good rad network
The state of roads in the local government area is an eye saw, this can be seen everywhere even inside the council secretariat and it requires immediate fixing

2-Commercial banks
In a world where everything is going digital we cannot even boast of a bank as this is causing alot of headache for both residents ad visitors.

3-quality education/facilities
the schools on ground at the moment are nothing to write home about and we most definitely can not produce our future leaders under such environment and conditions

4-Entrepreneurship developement centres
in order to meet with the decline in dependence on white collar jobs, the next administration must focus on putting in place world class training facilities to facilitate a smooth training of entrepreneurs and also funding them


These and many more are the basic needs of our people.

Shekarau Dumps PDP for APC

A new twist has developed in the politics of Kano State as a former governor of the state, Ibrahim Shekarau, has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party. Mr Shekarau’s spokesperson, Ya’u Sule, disclosed the defection in an interview with the BBC Hausa on Tuesday. Ayade is best South South governor on health, says World Bank, FG

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state has been adjudged one of the 6 best performing governors in Health in Nigeria by the World Bank and the Federal Government. The award is based on the emergence of Cross River State as the most improved state in Health in the South South geo-political zone. One state per geopolitical zone was chosen for the award. Recall that just last Thursday, the Governor bagged Business Newspaper award as the Best performing Governor in Agriculture. The award on health will be presented to the Governor at the 3rd Thisday policy dialogue holding on Friday at the Yar'Adua conference centre in Abuja. Vice President Yemi Osibanjo is expected to personally present the honours to the best performing states, a statement  signed  by  Dr. Okara Dogara stated.
